2/19/26- 2/20/26 - severe threat discussion

[Grand Poo Bah]

I'm guessing this will be the cell to watch (where the marker is). CAPE definitely seems to have leveled off a good amount, but that sheer and helicity will be able to do a lot of the heavy lifting.

Southern storm now tornado warned.

This is going to cross the path of the EF3+ on 3/31/2023 if it does stay down

[WeathermanLeprechaun]

Potentially STRONG tornado on the ground right now with the storm in SE IL!

[Ozonelayer]

PDS now!

[Eoline]

And there’s your PDS warning…

[TornadoFan]

First PDS warning of the year....

[Ozonelayer]

Oh Jeez thats really strong...

[WeathermanLeprechaun]

And that is the cell we were hoping wouldn't take place. SIGNIFICANT, DAMAGING tornado with this!

[TornadoFan]

[WeathermanLeprechaun]

I've been saying it all day about if we just got a cell that could mature thru that thermo limit and that cell is gonna be a problem assuming the merger soon is favorable. That northern merger could really set it off...

[akt1985]

New tornado warning downstream of PDS Warning in Indiana.

So the last TOR Emergency issued in the month of February was 2015 and before 2015, it was 2010.

Putting this out there just in case one of the NWS offices pulls one.
