Guess were no fatalities in Tennessee from tornadoes as reported by police scanner.
One person killed during the storms overnight in Atlanta due to a tree falling on a house.

HUN surveyed 3 tornadoes today. An EF-1 in Marshall County, an EF-1 in Colbert County(the Tuscumbia storm) and an EF-2 in Franklin County.

NWS Memphis found EF1 tornado that hit Shannon, MS in Lee County, EF0 tornado in SW Itawamba County near Evergreen, MS, EF0 tornado just south of Fairview, MS in Itawamba, and EF1 tornado near Bounds Crossroads, MS in Itawamba.
Tuscumbia tornado was about 1/4th of a mile from my parents house as it first touched down and lifted just before it got to my brothers house across town. He said the house shook and felt like all the windows were gonna blow out. His fence is down but no major damage. House across the street has a tree down on the garage out back.

It just looks like some showers and storms that are getting absorbed into the main squall line.
In the exact same boat here. Not sure how intense the Santa Ana winds are down by Lake Forest but up here by the Cajon Pass we usually get the worst of it. In any case, glad to see more folks from our accursed part of the nation

I’m about an hour north of ATL up 75. My truck and my daughters car got tagged pretty hard last night by a big white pine that fell as high winds moved through our area.

Looks like it was lightning that struck some portion of our cable system, which explains the thunderclap that jolted all of us out of bed early Sunday morning. Still having to figure out exactly what is fried and where. Just glad it didn't actually hit the house.
The Tuscumbia one is crazy. 1 minute? It did quite a bit of damage in 1 minute.

HUN surveying 3 more spots today - Hatton, Muscle Shoals and Killen.
As of today, 18 tornado reports from this event, including 2 EF-1s in Georgia, an EF-2 in Alabama and another EF-2 in Tennessee. Saw a few folks elsewhere talking down this event from a chasing perspective, which I mean, fair, but this event is just another data point into why I hate QLCS setups. Like I said before, I'm thoroughly impressed by how far north and east tornadoes managed to occur, with some of them of occurring on the absolute precipice of very weak instability overlaid extreme shear.
Wilson Lake and Hatton tornadoes confirmed. Both EF-1.
That puts us at 6 confirmed tornadoes.
