I've been watching this storm thats over Cullman right now. Most storms are moving north/north west but its had more of a north east trajectory. Putting out some lightning too

yeah, I was just noticing the same thing. Lots of lightning with that storm.

I can see the storm over Harvest from my office window and it appears to have some very low hanging scud. Wouldn't be surprised if people think its a tornado

The latest Day 1 expands the slight risk to include Birmingham.

Cullman, Morgan County storm now severe warned. Looks like a more Eastward movement too. Storms in Albertville heading Northwest look to be on a collision course with it.

It looks like a lot of the tornado warnings this afternoon have been in Tennessee and Kentucky.

Nasty storm in Shelby county just north of Pelham. There’s some rotation, but I’m thinking it is dropping some nasty hail right on the interstate. Large CC drop, but I think that’s hail, not a tornado.

Somebody correct me if they have a different explanation for the CC drop.

Sounds like some flooding issues near the baseball stadium in Hoover and downtown Arab per Spann. I anticipate some issues in East Madison county along the paint rock as well.

Learned this morning that a good friend of mine lost a child in the flooding in Arab, AL last night. Rough night for that community where flooding had never been a concern. Keep that family and all the people that were hit hard yesterday in your thoughts and prayers.

Prayers. I missed this event. Fall might be stormy. I remember bad weather from November thru to spring in Missssippi.
