05JAN2017 - E-mail Issues (Verification and Password Resets) *Closed*

We are in the process of working with Google to migrate the TalkWeather.com domain to my services account. With this in mind a temporary solution was put in place and due to security restrictions the temporary solution failed and several users did not get their confirmation e-mail or password resets. This solution has been updated and we are still working with Google to migrate the domain to the correct account.

At this time I have re-enabled e-mail verification. The verification and password resets e-mails are now are working but you may have to check your SPAM or JUNK folder until the permanent solution is put in place.

Not sure if Xenforo has a plugin for third party smtp setups, but I moved most of my transactional Drupal notification emails to Sendgrid, giving us a lot better deliverability. They allow something like 20k for free per month, so we've never hit the point with transactionals that we needed to pay for it.

I'll check them out. I haven't had to use an outside vendor for messaging traffic in a while. Just got all the spf records updated and hopefully within 72 hours we will have control of the TW domain for G Apps use which will help a lot.
