If you look at the apparent "feel like" temperature on the 12z Euro at 00z July 17th down there, that would be record breaking. A -109.7 C (or -165.46 F). Let's say that the wind speed was at 10mph when they recorded the -128.6 F temp back on July 21st, 1983. That would have led to a apparent feel like temp of -115.2 C (or -175.3 F)

oddly right now its somehow all spinning , there is no bookend vortex look at all yet all the cells are spinning around each other here.
The parent system causing all the flooding is the remnant of Tropical Storm Barry, I believe.
 
i would think it would be too early to say the t-word just yet since its july and isnt it hard to predict that in the summer time months wouldnt it plus wouldnt this be in the form of mcs or linear segments clusters too i know things have to start out with something plus its the gfs too so what would the other weather models say i just got questions from all of that
