Severe WX March 30th- April 1st 2023 (South, Southeast, Ohio Valley, Upper Midwest)

Convection seemingly becoming a bit more widespread now in the southern risk area. While the storms will mature, and probably struggle getting low level mesocyclones for a bit, realistically any of these could produce intense tornadoes. The SPC maintained high risk for these storms, and mentioned a violent tornado would be possible. Don't let guard down yet.

I would keep a close watch on these two areas for additional storm development. There's a reason SPC kept the High Risk

Sounds like we have a tornado emergency for the Grand Junction/Saulsbury tornado. Unusual for such a rural area but probably warranted.

This man they're interviewing from Wynne,Arkansas on the weather channel is breaking my heart. He was in his car outside the trailer and survived. His girlfriend died inside the trailer right in his hands after the storm. His other family members were taken to the hospital He waited and stayed with his deceased girlfriend for quite a while until they finally came to get her. He still in shock.
