My son is in Decatur, MS, and he said it’s flooding in his dorm room. Not just a little either. The bathroom door is about 8’ away from his front door, and it’s flooding all the way to the bathroom.

Well…hype it up over Alabama and Mississippi then. Lol. I’ve been in four tornadoes so about one a decade on average. That’s enough for me for a lifetime.

Right? I know they schedule it in advance, but June, July, August, etc.. are your most reliable months for no severe in the Deep South!
Same. Closest I came was watching a discrete cell (literally the only thing around convection wise for probably 30 miles) that came over my county during the 3/2/2012 outbreak. But the shear wasn’t there yet and it didn’t produce until it dropped a county over.

The one and only tornado that I have ever witnessed is the April 2011 Cullman tornado.
