Sufficient CAPE and ample shear basically until you get to Louisville. And nothing out in front to interfere with it.

Looks like the long tracker might pass south of Louisville but could come close to Elizabethtown. You don’t think it will still be on the ground if it tracks near Lexington, Kentucky.

It's probably cycled at least once, but I have to periodically stop and remind myself how insane it is that the Tri-State tornado can even credibly be brought up in the same sentence. And in December, no less! It's hard to wrap my head around.
