With the Saturday, 9/25 Powerball drawing estimated jackpot at $523 million ($379 million cash value), we've decided to bring back Powerball Madness. Here is how you can get a free chance to get a split of our TalkWeather PowerBall ticket.

Simply reply to this thread with your answer to this question...

What would be the first charity you would donate to with a large lottery win?

By answering that question you agree to our simple rules below...
1. Only those that reply to this thread with an answer to the above question are eligible.
2. One entry per valid TalkWeather account. Any attempt to use multiple accounts will disqualify all your entries.
3. Because the staff and volunteers have no control over the lottery, all valid TalkWeather members are eligible to participate.
4. Post as many times as you want, but you only get one entry.
5. Any winnings under $1000 will be given to TalkWeather's operation fund and furthermore, the $2 fee for the lottery ticket has been personally paid for by @WesL
6. Any win over $1000 will be distributed evenly to all valid entries, minus the cost for actual administration fees to validate entries, collect information, and disperse winnings.
7. The ticket has been purchased in the State of Arkansas, therefore winners are subject to Arkansas' laws, regulations, etc.
8. TalkWeather's server time will serve as the official time. All valid entries must be posted by 9/25/21 at 8:00 pm central time to be considered valid.
9. You agree to hold harmless all members, volunteers, owners and staff of TalkWeather / Social Data Group, LLC.
10. The administrator of this contest is Social Data Group, LLC, and assumes all rights to determine the administration of this contest including how any winnings are to be dispersed

I'm in! My charity of choice would be Turpentine Creek here in Arkansas. An amazing place that rescues big cats from around the country from people that shouldn't be taking care of these amazing creatures.

I'm in. My first charity donation would likely be Arc of Alabama. They advocate for the rights and needs of both children and adults with disabilities.

If I hit it big in the Lotto... St Jude's would be my first of several charities to benefit

First and foremost I think I'd go with Yellow Ribbon Fund

Arc of Madison County helped my son get his first job. Great group.

I'd make a 3-way donation - Arc, Kids to Love and St. Jude's.
