Initial reports were a car fire, but now they aren't sure. Arson? Terrorism?

Good news is no firefighters were injured when the bridge collapsed. They anticipated the collapse and moved back before it happened.

Do they have a metal sheet big enough to cover that new pothole you think? </s>

That stuff has been under the bridge awhile. By using Google street view you'll see the items showed up sometime between July 2011 and April 2012.

WSB TV News now reporting several suspects are in custody and will not answer questions on whether charges involve terrorism, Also not clear if Federal Authorities have taken control of those charged

Its just the world we live in but I immediately suspected terrorism(and I may very likely be proven wrong). What a better way to try and strike some fear in the heart of Americans than basically destroy a bridge carrying interstate traffic through a major city at rush hour and impact the local economy and daily life of thousands of people. Even better, this isn't a major coastal city but instead a punch to the heartland of America.

Terrorism or just plain old good fashioned hooliganism I can't imagine that fire wasn't an accident.
