We're having damaging/significant tornadoes already with the QLCS. It's baffling.

They haven't exactly been on their game this year.

More people need to realize that a moderate or even an enhanced risk can still absolutely be a very serious situation. For whatever it's worth the Joplin and 2013 Moore tornadoes were both "only" in 10% hatched risk areas.

It also isn't a linear scale. Each categorical upgrade is a statistical doubling of the threat.

The front is coming thru Bham. After that we will more. I think that The SPC gave in between updates 27 April 2011. TWC gives a 7 TORCON rating thru the SE.
