Very strongly agree with everything you said Yeppersthis is why trey is the absolute goat, I love all of his forecasts and post-event analysis, they're always very informative
People focus on the human toll (which is completely fair; 2,977 innocent people died) but I don't think enough attention is given to the complex itself. One of the most majestically-constructed as well as effective uses of an entire zip code in U.S. history. I invite damage nerds to do some research into the buildings; a lot of what happened on that day ties back into tornado damage in random ways such as floor truss failures. It's not really related to weather but it won't get a lot of attention in different threads. Never forget those who died, 25 years ago today due to the horrific terrorist attacks committed on both WTCs.
The day the world changed.
Number 500 for your state? Jk lollooks like one of those funnel clouds they put an advisory for yesterday touched down, not super surprised by it
lmao right? I honestly expect only one or two more "major" svwx setups for N IL this year, and we'll hopefully be done.Number 500 for your state? Jk lol
I don't know how many people know about this, but a few weeks after 9/11, an F1 tornado went right through Washington, DCPeople focus on the human toll (which is completely fair; 2,977 innocent people died) but I don't think enough attention is given to the complex itself.
