Severe WX Severe Weather Threat June 19-23

So, wasn't able to follow closely since I was attending a dinner theater show with my wife and my parents for Father's Day, but it sounds like we had the OWS supercell outbreak of the year on a slight risk day? Go figure.

Cams have had a good generalized idea regarding today.
MCS develops Saturday night and last through into Sunday then begins to decay into a semi discrete storm mode in IL in the afternoon hours within a volatile parameter space. The likely hood of a tornado outbreak was quite high.
What the cams have failed to realize, was of course the magnitude of said tornado outbreak.
I was a work through most of the event, but can’t say even I was surprised.
I was expecting a rudimentary tornado outbreak where you have a couple of short lived spin ups, not multiple sig tors.
Who’s ready for another midwestern event? It’s only been the tenth thousandth time, anyone?

What’s more, don’t sleep on Ok tonight, discrete supercell that’s already in progress is expected to last at least until 1am, it will have ample chances to produce a tornado before the MCS to its northwest catches up with it.
