Interesting to note how the cells have kind of spaced themselves out over time. Compare radar of the cells now west and east of Effingham vs. how they looked near Springfield 3 hours ago.

These cells are having a difficult time to produce anything that last longer than 10minutes, outflow cuts off the tornado quickly. Airmass is obviously a little stable still.
Fingers cross it stays that way.

I was just about to post about this cell. It’s not as intense on velocity, but it’s had a really impressive look on reflectivity for a while now. It’s worth keeping an eye on because it has that classic look, but it just hasn’t quite been able to do it yet.
