Govt revenues should be at an all time high because of low unemployment and strong corporate profits. But deficits are also at an all time high. This can’t continue.

Maybe Trump will drop Pence and pick up Kayne for his running mate in 2020. Check out this brilliant discourse.

It's hard to believe how the integrity, dignity, and character of the office of POTUS has degraded under President Trump.

I'm thinking that this could be a real possible strategy for 2020. Trump doesn't need Pence anymore for the evangelical vote. He's proven he has the Christian right so far in his back pocket he could have a stripper orgy in the Oval Office and they would dismiss it as no big deal. So he drops Pence and selects Kayne for the ticket to boost his support in the black community. Imagine the gowns Kim and her sisters would be wearing at the Inauguration Balls. It would put the Playboy mansion to shame.

I’m not sure how it will affect the evangelical support, but I can assure you that some his redneck supporters are not happy about this meeting.

I am so surprised !

Here's why:

Call me when Trump changes, Matt. We both know that day will never come. He cares more about spinning an arms deal with Saudi Arabia as "creating jobs" than he does about finally putting Saudi Arabia in their place and making it clear that such behavior will NOT be allowed, and that there are extremely serious consequences for doing such barbaric things.

You know I'm right on this and that Trump is wrong. There's not a single doubt in your mind that Kushner sucking up to MBS is corrupting the Trump admin's response to this. Trump's nepotism is DIRECTLY responsible for that.

There's an opportunity here to demand serious and swift changes by Saudi Arabia with severe penalties for not doing so. If Iran had done this our response would be off the charts. In fact, Iran is all the more reason to carry out harsh measures against Saudi Arabia here. It provides an opportunity to thaw our relationship with Iran, get a new nuke deal, and even solve a lot of the Syria baggage that is hanging around.

Trump isn't ethical enough, smart enough, or serious enough to realize the geopolitical opportunities and demands for a situation like this. He sees everything as a real estate deal so he's hung up on a relatively tiny arms deal that Saudi Arabia has barely spent any money on because Kushner manipulates him and keeps him in the dark about the truth of it all.

We are better than this as a country and there is an opportunity here to absolutely demolish the Saudis for all their past barbarism and egocentric behavior. But Trump can't and won't do that because he's a soulless dolt. We could even repair our relationship with Turkey and Qatar with this situation. This admin is going to mishandle this situation and hopefully we won't end up with another 9/11 because we refuse to treat the Saudis like the savage Wahhabists that they are.

Tell me I'm wrong, Matt. I don't think you can do it with a straight face. I really don't.

So, both candidates, Republican and Democrat, for Alabama Attorney General are giving into the mass hysteria whipped up by the media about the 3D printed guns. And then people wonder why I'm sitting my butt home come November 6th.

Idiotic! Sounds like something a non essential government employee would say.

Let's get all the facts before we make silly declarations. Trump said he was taking a serious look into this. The arms deal may be delayed but it will eventually go through. It has to. The Kingdom is under going cultural changes. They are slow, but significant. Your track record with predicting how this administration will handle situations is not all that great, so i will leave it to them and not worry too much what Evan may think.

I think my track record on this admin has been phenomenal. What comments about the administration's functioning and actions have I gotten wrong? I'll easily admit I didn't think Trump would appoint Conservative justices. In a way he didn't since it was a fait acompli presented to him after becoming nominees and then McGahn stepped in to run the nominations show.

Surely you have a list, Matt?

No, KSA is not undergoing any significant or positive changes. I see the money the Saudis spend on K-Street lobbying has worked wonders on you, Matt. The arms deal doesn't need to go through. We need to shut off all assistance to Saudi Arabia and force them to pay a heavy price.

We have the facts. Or are you alleging Khashoggi disappeared due to spontaneous combustion?

Mattis and Trump need to answer for the F-22s damaged/lost at Tyndall. Shameful that there wasn't a contingency plan to get them trucked out before the hurricane. Hurricanes happen on the Gulf Coast. How does our readiness and preparation not involve a plan to move extremely expensive and important aircraft when threatened by a high-end Hurricane???
