Higher than I was expecting honestly. Guess they’re pretty confident that at least a few storms will be able to get through the cap.

Anyways, the dryline seems to be attempting at putting something down. Interesting to watch for the DFW area. I have a sneaky feeling that we might have the dryline become a focal point and not just another area along with the moisture boundary.

Starting to wonder if there are any failure modes left. Cape in environment is 4,000-5,000+ and, according to what I heard on FOXWeather... cap is eroding? (Unless they were referring to OK)
But then an official met on Twitter said cap is holding strong...

If I had to guess, the cells near the Wichita Falls area have the best chance of maturing and breaking through the cap. One of them is already about 40,000 ft tall from KDYX

Tops in the 40,000-45,000 ft tall range on the cells near Witchita Fall. Its go time.
