I do think a lot of areas in north bama and north ga see snow tomorrow afternoon but two things are going to drastically hurt accumulations. First the temps are going to be above freezing with this snow I’m thinking like 34-38 so sticking on roads shouldn’t happen especially during day. Also the sun angle this time of year is not great for getting snow to stick during afternoon especially. But I do think a lot of areas will see show showers tmrw afternoon.

The blizzard is still ongoing across parts of Michigan and Wisconsin this morning. Meanwhile, behind the Moderate Risk today are Winter Weather Advisories for the Alleghaney Mountains of West Virginia and Pennsylvania.

I live in Dallas County and the forecast for the north part of the county says snow and rain, whereas the central part of Dallas County where I am at just says rain. I am pretty sure that this will be my last chance this winter to see snow...so fingers crossed! It seems that the precipitation to our west in Mississippi right now is more than what the weather models have shown.

Perhaps the moderators could pin this message in case there is more winter weather than forecasted today across the South.
Hrrr is showing 2 inches for some places in Alabama it could really produce a headache for some people

Ton of snow coming down in Huntsville, not really sticking obviously but the flakes are fairly large.

It snowed heavy enough in the Providence area of Huntsville to cool the ground and allow the snow to start sticking. The back end of this band is pushing through as we speak. I have not had time to look and see if any more snow is expected today. We have hit 32 degrees at the airport (my weather station north of Huntsville is reading 31.6).
Anybody in downtown Birmingham? It should absolutely be pouring snow now or very soon
