Watching our erstwhile poster @Fred Gossage on TN Valley Weather. They called the Columbia storm a few minutes before the NWS warning went out.

 
Tornado warning in Alabama dropped.
In the same moment, a new TOR has been issued for that circulation near Columbia, Tennessee.

The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
Central Maury County in Middle Tennessee...
Eastern Williamson County in Middle Tennessee...

* Until 1100 PM CDT.

* At 1011 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
tornado was located near Columbia, moving northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
Columbia around 1015 PM CDT.
Spring Hill around 1020 PM CDT.
Thompson's Station around 1030 PM CDT.
Nolensville around 1050 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Santa
Fe, I-65 East Of Columbia, Triune, and Williamsport.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 65 between mile markers 45 and 70.
Interstate 840 between mile markers 20 and 45.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

The gust front is starting to outrun the line a little south of about Aberdeen; that'd be a good trend if it continued, hampering the tornado threat along that part of the line at least. Velocities have come down a little on the last few scans along that part of the line BUT it's getting closer to the radar, so I'd expect winds to drop a little on velocity anyway as we scan lower in the storm instead of the higher winds aloft
