2025 wildfires

This is my first attempt at creating a thread, so apologies if I've screwed it up. Noticed this morning that there isn't an overarching thread on wildfires in 2025 (just the SoCal fires in January) so why not start this since fire season is picking up.

The Madre Fire burning at the edge of the Los Padres National Forest has grown to 35,000+ acres, making it the largest fire in California this year.
