Does anyone have any theories or know why the storm stalled out and stopped moving where it did? Lack of speed sheer? Cold front stalling? Too much cape causing the engine to explode every time it started? lol that last one is my idea.
Watching Ft. Smith tv coverage, had a laugh when they showed a traffic cam and the weather intern freaked out. "Wow, look at the wind whip that sign! Wow, never seen one bend like that before! Wicked!"
It was actually just rolling raindrop distortion on the cam, sign not actually whipsawing. Senior weatherman was not amused....
