Leoti, KS has a tornado warning now.
Yep. It’s not really an issue on this site but is extremely prevalent on WxTwitter. It's almost as if you shouldn't listen to one single model run and assume that's how it's going to happen. It's an ever-changing model run every hour.
Higgins? I"m not seeing anything in that area.Storm near Higgins, OK has one heck of a upper level mesocyclone.
I meant TX, its right on the border.Higgins? I"m not seeing anything in that area.
Ah gotcha. I was a bit confused lmao.I meant TX, its right on the border.
You’ve had almost 5k J/kg of cape sitting there since a little past noon today. Kansas still has plenty of CIN and not nearly that much cape. It’s going to take a dues ex machina from the LLJ to turn it more favorable.I think everybody writing off the Kansas threat should look at how quickly the nw Oklahoma environment modified
Again you mean? The TOR near Albany, TX is menacing looking. Inbound and outbound velocity/inflow bands look very clear and unimpeded. Tornado seems likely soon.
Woodward should remain on high alert if this storm decides to do something.
Central Kansas will see some of those cells currently in the Texas panhandle/NW Oklahoma travel northeast toward that area sustain in a very favorable environment.Thanks. So you see clouds burning off in KS? Or them staying and not making difference ? @Tanner
