I’ll be honest, I’m not sure why they didn’t call this a tornado emergency? I think the Vrot and CC requirements were met. It may not have made a direct impact on downtown London, but there were several subdivisions hit by this tornado.

I've heard something about them needing authorization from a higher-up, which doesn't exist given the massive staffing cuts. Could be wrong, though.

I know it's not confirmed that there are mass fatalities, but that isn't ever shown for just ANY tornado.

From what I've seen, those are issued for whenever there is catastrophic damage. Like, homes completely leveled and all that jazz. Its been consistent with that for the past few years.

It is so crazy how only 6 counties are under tornado warnings in Kentucky but has been a hot bed for intense to violent tornadoes.

Here's your reason why the tornado/supercell has lasted so long. It's riding along a boundary. You can tell there's one situated across Southern Kentucky down into Northern Tennessee.
