Manchester, KY needs to be on high alert if this thing stays on the ground.
I think that one is on the ground now.Storm behind this one is getting that look too.
I've heard something about them needing authorization from a higher-up, which doesn't exist given the massive staffing cuts. Could be wrong, though.I’ll be honest, I’m not sure why they didn’t call this a tornado emergency? I think the Vrot and CC requirements were met. It may not have made a direct impact on downtown London, but there were several subdivisions hit by this tornado.
Donut hole on reflectivity!Training supercell has the potential to do something similar.

Isn’t this normal procedure for damage from a storm? Don’t think it means confirmed.Oh no....I have no words for this.....
OMG!!!!Oh no....I have no words for this.....
I know it's not confirmed that there are mass fatalities, but that isn't ever shown for just ANY tornado.Isn’t this normal procedure for damage from a storm? Don’t think it means confirmed.
That convection behind it is probably fueling it too. Not a good signThe cell that’s training over the path of the lead cell that’s now east of Somerset has really ramped as well in recent scans…

From what I've seen, those are issued for whenever there is catastrophic damage. Like, homes completely leveled and all that jazz. Its been consistent with that for the past few years.Wym?
It is so crazy how only 6 counties are under tornado warnings in Kentucky but has been a hot bed for intense to violent tornadoes. The cell behind it actually has downtown London in its path.
