April 20th 2025 severe threat

Looks like that tornado warning north of Joplin heading torwards Lamar maybe one of the more dominant supercells as we move through the afternoon. Just given it's proximity to the warm front, id guess it'll probably go on to produce down the line somewhere. The meso is absolutely impressive on it right now
 
Yea, I don’t mean to derail the thread, but I feel like storm chasers in general blow stuff out of proportion way too much.

They scream “large” “violent” at every single tornado that touches down when most of the time the tornadoes in question are barely a stove pipe and have no violent motion to be seen.

It seems like Pecos Hank, Freddy Mckinny, Brett Adair, Brandon Copic, Simon Brewer and Justin Drake are the only storm chasers that actually have any integrity to hold back on overdramatization.

Anyways, back to the weather.

Brett Adair is pretty solid as well, but yeah agreed.
