Murray is a decent sized town. Murray State university is there
That’s exactly what I thought too. I’m just now catching up but seeing that storm gave me some flashbacksIt's probably already been said, but this tornado reminds me of the Tuscaloosa tornado back in 2011 with the horizontal vortices and appendage to its side. Absolutely wicked-looking tornado.
It was definitely a tornado but us was rain wrapped, and rain wrapped tornadoes sometimes don’t cause CC drops even if debris is lifted.View attachment 38675
Someone took this photo in Bourbon Indiana (town is in northern Indiana) of a possible tornado. This was from a line of thunderstorms from earlier tonight. Did here of damage in downtown, but definitely not to this extent. I'm very skeptical on if this is an actual tornado or not. Did not see a CC drop on radar.
College town. Decent sized.Murray is about to get by a strong tornado. Debris ball is evident.
I forsee a lot of flash-flooding for that area, unfortunately...The QLCS is barely moving while the individual supercells are moving at a decent clip.
Been there once. My teachers son lived there. Stopped on a trip.College town. Decent sized.
Keep us updated if possible. Stay safe (as much as you can)Wish me luck boys.....
