That TDS near Jacksonville is still obvious. This is a large and probably significant tornado.

Hard to say for sure but that TDS looks to be showing up around 15-20kft near Jacksonville. I believe there was a study done on TDS height and tornado strength but I don't remember the numbers right offhand.

However, there is a house full of international students who may be stuck on campus. Many may not know what to do during a tornado.

Oh, yeah, I didn't think about that. Something similar happened when I was in grad school at CMU; thankfully it didn't produce until it passed over campus.

It looks like the very center was passing over the northern part of Jacksonville but the circulation is strong enough that I would imagine all but the southern 1/3rd of town was hit.

Another tornado circulation heading towards Jacksonville now!

Unfortunately this second cell may take out the rest.

From street level mapping it looks like the northern 1/2 of campus took a direct hit. Who knows who is on campus even during break.

Pray there are no serious injuries or fatalities

Unfortunately a significant number of apartment buildings (approximately 20) would've taken a near direct hit. Let's hope most were gone for break.
