Out of curiosity, what website/program are you using to get those kinds of screenshots?
Yeah, I'm afraid it'll wrap up here soon. Watch outInteresting couplet North of Aliceville, Alabama.
It's because the winds need to turn more southerly to advect in the higher theta-e air from the central Gulf and not from GA and FL.I'm surprised at how little CAPE has made its way into central Alabama. I've been around 80 degrees since 10am, had a decent amount of sun out earlier, pretty strong winds out of the south, and no rain to stabilize the atmosphere... but nevertheless, the dewpoint has struggled to come up... am currently sitting at 79/61... and it seems like we still have less than 1000 J/Kg of CAPE.
Very odd event.
That Walker County cell is continuing to strengthen.
On the velocity on radarscope, the frame I got in return showed it strengthening.Interesting, 33/40 guy (not James, the other one) is saying the opposite.
I haven't been too impressed by him to be honest. I'm sure he's a great guy, but haven't been impressed by him in terms of his judgement.Interesting, 33/40 guy (not James, the other one) is saying the opposite.
