I've mostly decided to sit this one out. I might head out for a bit in NE Mississippi along hwy;s 72 and/or 45. It's not quite as flat as the Delta but it's fairly open and I can use the 3x or 7x zoom on the drone to observe from a distance. My wife has noticed that my demeanor toward this system has gotten more solemn and seeing UH tracks across my map dot makes me want to stay closer to home for this event.

It did. But unfortunately you had one of the most powerful tornadoes to touch earth and a few others that were EF5 candidates as well. I could very well seeing it have some tornadoes like those.
I'm in a similar position at my job. Can't tell you how many times I got pulled of to the side today by people wondering what I was thinking. All I could come up with is "It's not good. I don't like it one bit."
Not really, since most model runs are already done and we'll have to wait until the 06z model runs before we get anything new.
This type of setup can probably produce numerous long track EF2 and EF3 tornadoes and over a half dozen violent EF4+ tornadoes.
Yeah. That’s the setup we’re looking at. Which is something I’ve never been able to actually cover before ever. It’s truly a nightmare.

I would certainly say it is not out of the question. I think there will be at the very least a half dozen violent tornadoes. That is probably being conservative.
