Severe WX Severe Weather Threat 3/14-3/16

I’m

well I guess I’m stupid lol. I plan to be safe, got a drone to live stream . Not gonna try to get to these monsters
I've mostly decided to sit this one out. I might head out for a bit in NE Mississippi along hwy;s 72 and/or 45. It's not quite as flat as the Delta but it's fairly open and I can use the 3x or 7x zoom on the drone to observe from a distance. My wife has noticed that my demeanor toward this system has gotten more solemn and seeing UH tracks across my map dot makes me want to stay closer to home for this event.

I am the weather guy for my workplace (so much so that some of the staff call me Weather Daddy) and lately, my shifts have been on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I expect a tiring work week, so I tried being responsible and going to bed at a decent time, but my body had other ideas. I hope everyone gets as much rest as they can tonight before everything unfolds.

I'm in a similar position at my job. Can't tell you how many times I got pulled of to the side today by people wondering what I was thinking. All I could come up with is "It's not good. I don't like it one bit."

At a certain point, you just kind of run out of words and mental faculty to describe something. That's where I'm at here. All I can say is I hope everyone is prepared and everyone makes it through okay.

In ancient Mesopotamia: "A lunar eclipse was seen as a direct assault on the king. Due to their ability to predict eclipses, they would appoint a proxy king for the duration. This expendable individual would act as the monarch while the real king hid."

They believed them bad omens.

I cannot help but think.
