There are tons of fascinating tornado videos buried on YouTube. For example, here's one I came across today that I believe shows the formative stages of the 4/16/2011 Bertie County EF3:This turned out to be the Tuscaloosa-Birmingham tornado filmed at a water treatment facility right between Mcdonald Chapel and Pratt City. Some truly phenomenal footage and a great find, I’ve never seen the actual tornado itself within this phase of its life — as it was obscured by the extremely low hanging mesocyclone along with rain and debris. At this point in the video, the tornado was likely just exiting Pleasant Grove.
