Severe Weather 2024

LR severe weather potentials repeatedly morphing into heavy rain events for the South...perhaps a sign of continuing El Nino influence?
There you go! That is what I believe and another reason why I continue to believe April is gonna be the month for tornadoes

Having said that though March won't be totally dead of severe weather/tornado threats. One of these systems may sneak in a few tornadoes but as for a more robust (Enhanced-High Risk) event, I'm just not seeing it.

Was this the one where there was snow the next day covering the ground and debris? I remember it when it happened but seemed to lose track over the years.
Yes it was

Good that they're making progress but sounds like it won't be ready in time for Friday. :( May-July would probably have been the best window to move it, as severe weather activity has usually moved north of there by then, and the peak of hurricane season hasn't arrived. Of course, there are no guarantees when it comes to the weather.

What's your thoughts on Friday and Saturday?
