I'm thinking that this convention will kill off anything before reaching Bham. But I'm trying to decide if I should put my birds in their travel cages before going to bed. I have another migraine.

9 pm Bham 63/61 1.25" rain since 7 & still raining hard, more of a flood thread now

New MD mentions a maximized zone for tornado risk in MS.

SUMMARY...Tornado risk appears likely to be maximized in a narrow
zone from southwestern to east-central Mississippi over the next
hour.

DISCUSSION...Latest radar loop shows a band of generally small, but
rotating cells moving northeastward at around 35 kt, in a band
extending from roughly Lincoln County in southwestern Mississippi,
to Newton/Neshoba/Kemper Counties in east-central Mississippi.

While generally small in size, a few of these cells have shown
rather pronounced low-level rotation (rotational velocity around 40
kt). Given the favorable background environment, this appears
likely to be a favored zone for a stronger tornado over the next
hour or so.

This polygon actually contains two couplets from two separate supercells. Not confusing at all.
