There was a tornado near Chugwater, WY yesterday and today that have had another one. That cell structure looks gnarly. This could become quite significant and be on the ground for a long while as it heads east towards towns.
I swear every year I see videos of tornadoes by ChugwaterThat area in Goshen Co., WY seems to be a localized hot spot. That's where one of the most significant Plains tornadoes of the 2009 season (and the first/perhaps only major scientific bonanza for VORTEX2) too place.
Regarding tomorrow, 18Z CAMS appear to agree on the overnight MCS tracking a little more north and weakening/dissipating by noon, which bodes well for recovery across the Iowa target.
PDS warning in Wyoming now. Sounds like Hawk Springs may have taken a hit...saw a possible TDS on CC.
