I have no words. That structure is unbelievable. I can’t remember the last time I saw footage like this.
4/27 jumps out. Ironically, this is occurring on the 33rd anniversary of that infamous outbreak on that infamous Friday and roughly the same reigion, too...I can’t remember the last time I have seen this many “massive” debris balls in one outbreak.
Yeah Omaha and Lincoln both dodged massive bullets. Rotating supercells went over both cities and dropped large tornadoes within 10-15 minutes.I hate to say anywhere is a good place for a tornado to touch down, but I'm so glad pretty much all of these Omaha storms didn't touch down until they crossed into more rural areas.
Well hyperbole aside we will have to see surveys first, I would more say “than 3/31 last year”. However, I will concede I’ve seen more “violent-like” signatures today than even on 3/31 last yearNot since April 27th, 2011 have we had a day of this magnitude
Even a 45% or 60% hatched area for violent tornadoes would have verified today.4/27 jumps out. Ironically, this is occurring on the 33rd anniversary of that infamous outbreak on that infamous Friday, too...
