Severe WX March 29-30, 2022 Severe Event

Was about to say, that little wind surge that passed by KBMX looked suspicious, good to know NWS thought the same

Didn't get a chance to post this until now, and note that the N0U view in GetNexrad doesn't do this tornado justice for some reason, but looks like the monster made direct hits on (or at least passed very close to) Sprott and Antioch. Brierfield and/or Ashby may have been hit as well. Already confirmed there is damage in Montevallo including to their university, one minor injury reported there so far.

I think Sprott was hit twice within a 30-45 minute period tonight.

No cc yet but afraid it's about to put down a quick siggy
Did not occur it seems thankfully. However, is trying to handoff mesos so gotta watch. Also there are three cells to the north are rotating aloft at least in AL, will have to watch as downstream environment still definitely favorable for tornadoes

Looks like a deeply embedded HP supercell moreso than a comma head feature at this point, with a meso that large it's got big time pain potential

Segment approaching Andalusia looks potentially interesting, in this environment it's hard to trust any line segment or cell
