Unless Mr Hurts said something other than what appears in that article, comparing him to Ball is ridiculous. He basically said that if Jalen loses the starting job, it’s his own fault. That’s far from a Ball-esque statement. Yes, he said that Jalen would leave Bama if he wasn’t going to get to play QB, but that’s a common move in college football today. Maybe you’re referring to the statement about him being a super desirable free agent - well, he’s speaking the truth. The line of college coaches at his door would be long.Jalen Hurts' dad apparently went to the La'Var Ball school of helicopter parenting.
I hope Saban gives him a nice phone call. No room for this nonsense in the program.

Alabama and Notre Dame have scheduled a home and home series in 2028 and 2029.

I should have my Tide Pride tickets by Notre Dame. Friggin 8-10 year waitlist. Guess I have to start donating more to bump me up.

Rumor I'm hearing is that Byrne is all about expanding the capacity of Bryant Denny. Some of the gaps between the endzone upper decks and east/west sideline upper decks could be closed. Also, additions of standing patios are on the table as well.
Coleman likely won't be demolished, but will undergo a significant renovation to bring in the seats closer to the court. It needs serious work. I have my own opinions of what they should do to Coleman, but it would be a significant change to that part of campus. Move the law school to the new acquired Bryce Mental Hospital land and put Coleman where the Law School is.

The last 2 expansions created seats I won't sit in if they are free and I have a helicopter dropping me off and picking me up at the front gate. The corners do need to be filled in to keep in crowd noise, but the place it too big already.
Last I heard about Coleman is it will be stripped down to almost a shell and completely rebuilt on the inside, which would mean the team would have to spend at least one season on the road. Foster is too small but I would imagine we'd see a few more games in Huntsville, Montgomery and Mobile but with most home games at the BJCC.
At one time there was talk about building a new basketball arena on the Black Warrior River but I don't think that ever really got off the ground.
Coleman is an eyesore both on TV and in person so I'm glad they're actually doing that. They have some truly awful sightlines there.
They treat the student section like garbage in Coleman. I wouldn't be opposed to them having a ticket sale process for SEC games where we can get courtside seats...much like Florida has. $5 each SEC home game isn't bank breaking considering it's $10 for football games.Coleman is an eyesore both on TV and in person so I'm glad they're actually doing that. Some of the Tide Pride ticket holders told one of my buddy's families they need to sit and stop making so much noise during the Oklahoma game. That is why Coleman will never be great.
