NFL 2018 Season

Decided to start a thread on the 2018 NFL season.

After such an improbable win yesterday, the Saints look like a team of destiny.

Titans are a mediocre team on the verge of turning into a flaming dumpster fire just like we are every year.

I want Mariota to work out, I really do, but spread option QBs just don't work in the NFL. He just doesn't have the consistency as a passer. I'd be ecstatic if we could hold onto him for one more season and if he doesn't develop we move up in the draft and are in position to grab Tua in 2020.

The Saints are just bulldozing everyone. With the AFC not really having any complete teams and their main challenger in the NFC (Rams) showing some chinks in the armor, they may be a near lock for the Super Bowl. This stretch they're having may be among the most dominant runs in NFL history.

Party like its 2009.

This may be a better team than 2009 when its all said and done. Drew Brees is going to the Tom Brady/Peyton Manning school of peaking when your career is getting close to the finish line and the defense seems much improved over that year's team, which was still good enough to win a Super Bowl.

It would be awesome to see Drew Brees go out on top. He came in when the city needed a hero. He resurrected a broken city and a broken franchise. It sure doesn't seem like it has been 9 years since that first Superbowl, but man, it would be oh, so great, to relive that feeling each and every New Orleanian had on that fateful February evening...

Mark Ingram is my favorite NFL player and Brees is my favorite NFL QB so I'm really enjoying following the Saints this season

Nice shootout on MNF between the Rams and Chiefs. Been a Rams fan since '99 and endured some really really bad teams over the years so its nice to see all the points for a change.

I'm not a fan of how 7-on-7ish the NFL is becoming though. I'm a Titans fan but don't particularly have a strong allegiance to them so Iove watching the young guns like Goff and Mahomes play dont get me wrong, but the NFL is turning biased against great defenses and seems to want to become real-life Madden and not the chess match it once was.

The Rams were supposed to have on the best defenses in the league but that hasn't worked out to well. Don't get me wrong the defensive line is great with Donald and Suh but needing some help in the secondary for sure. Hopefully aqib talib will be ready to go soon. He is desperately needed.

This weekend is the AFC Championship Game between the Patriots and Chiefs at Kansas City and the Rams and Saints at New Orleans. I don’t know which stadium is louder but this is the second conference championship game in the Superdome’s history and the first ever for Arrowhead Stadium as the Chiefs finally broke their home playoff loss streak dating back to the mid 90s last weekend.

I think they are predicting game temps in KC to be in the single digits with wind chills below zero

I didn’t really care who won, but it is pitiful to see the NFC Championship decided by awful officiating.

I. AM. IRATE.

If its any consolation, the reffing at the end there may have just pissed off a large enough chunk of fans to start going after the NFL if its not fixed.. nobody outside of Los Angeles wanted the Rams to win that game..

I didn't believe the tinfoil hat conspiracies of the "NFL is fixed" until today. That was just too bad.

Things aren’t going so well for the Chiefs. The Super Bowl might take another hit in ratings if it’s Patriots vs Rams.

When you have to put an asterisk next to a potential Superbowl winning team because the NFL reportedly admitted it botched a call...what kind of integrity does the sport have left? Why would anyone want to watch that?

Still flaming away. Sorry.

The whole country wanted to see Saints-Chiefs outside of two cities. Nobody wants to see Cheifs-Rams again and nobody wants to see Rams-Patriots because they're the two most hated teams in the league now.
