11 years ago, on March 26th, 2014, a series of four tornadoes touched down in Northern California, spanning multiple counties, including Placer and Glenn County. Three out of the four twisters were rated EF1 and went over rural areas, including one that touched down near Willows. The fourth was a high-end EF0 that entered a suburban area of Roseville busting several people's windows, mowed down wooden fences, and at peak intensity, picked up and threw an entire 1,000 lb garden shed against Mark Tompson's house, before throwing his picnic table straight into the wall of his neighbor's. The table slammed so hard that it almost penetrated the upstairs bedroom on the other side of said wall. The tornado was highly visible and was captured on multiple angles, although I could find only one that actually showed the tornado doing damage.
