I thought it would be interesting to start a little thread about this. There have been specific sports thread events that have made. I’ve seen a lot of people talk about sports in the severe weather forums. All I ask is you keep it friendly if there a debate comes up. You can basically talk about anything regarding to sports, this can be from trades, to injuries, retirement, deals, who’s the better team, and a whole lot more!
 
Tiger Wood ruptured his Achilles which was surgically repaired this morning. I understand if one of if not the greatest golf athlete. But he may have to seriously think about retirement.
 
I don’t know who I see winning the whole thing. Either Florida or auburn. I can’t pick which one
 
Even though both Alabama and Auburn men’s basketball are really good right now, do enough people in the state of Alabama have enough interest or care right now since it’s primarily a college football state?
 
I'm getting ready to do a March Madness where I get a whole bunch of members who recently posted, rank them according to a formula, and match them up with actual schools in the NCAA Tournament. Only one person wins.

I've got up to 125 members in it, so far. The top 68 will be picked.

Both fanbases are somewhat fair-weather. I went to a handful of games each year from 2001-2012 in Tuscaloosa, but found myself only watching a few games per year from 2013-2020 when Bama seemed to be either right on the bubble or just outside of the tournament every year. Would love to be able to make a few games nowadays since this is the best stretch in program history.

Both programs will be well supported while the teams are above average. It'll be interesting to see where both programs go in a few years once Pearl retires and (if) Oats moves on to somewhere else.

For our Alabama posters, March Madness is just one game away from both Alabama and Auburn being in the Final Four. I don’t know how the state would react to a Alabama/Auburn National Championship game in something other than football.
