I'm intrigued by the sneaky low end threat tommorow night in central Alabama lol.

Placing a bet. Mississippi and Alabama will see more action tommorow and tommorow night than all of today lol.

If anything a few rumbles of thunder when sleeping will be nice

I'm genuinely curious how many times (if any) the SPC has decided to downgrade a risk area before the start of an event though. Don't think I've seen them do that before
I've seen it once, I can't remember when it feels like it's been a few years at least.

Yeah, I can't recall one either, which is probably just availability bias since any event that underperforms enough to get preemptively downgraded isn't going to be memorable. Makes sense for conditional threats where it's obvious those conditions aren't gonna materialize like yesterday.

The HREF hazard guidance yesterday was very much against the threat. It showed low probabilities primarily offshore. There was some late night attempts in Louisiana near the coast, but nothing produced.

You would think that they would have brought down a doppler on wheels to provide back up. O well
Yeah, the TWDR will be down here in a few.

Hmm, I wonder if we will see something sneaky tomorrow closer to the warm front across north and central Alabama.
