No doubt.
At the same time, trump doesn't do himself any favors with his style of denial. He could just say she's lying, there is no security tape, somebody would have heard, etc. Saying she isn't his type is also creepy.

That's a good point. It would be nice if he would learn from that mistake and at least pretend to be a bit humble about it.

It's very interesting to consider how vulnerable a democratic candidate would be to a similar type of controversy if it occurred during the election cycle. Anything remotely misogynistic, racist, rapey or creepy would make headlines for days and be detrimental. If it happens to Trump, nobody is surprised. To be a big story you'd literally need a video of Trump defecating on someone in the middle of fifth avenue.

I guess it related to my education in geology and hydrology (my masters thesis specifically dealt with quantifying land use change (e.g., forest clearcutting for timber or strip mining) and the effects on water quality/quantity of watershed used as a public water source.

Definitely during the primaries, but I agree the severity would depend on the particular media, their leanings/bias and how they would frame it. As usual, MSNBC would act like FOX has & does for Trump. Noted, MaroonedInHSV mentioned I was referring to public opinion. Easy to not recognize that with my poor wording though.
In other news, it'll be interesting to see Mueller give a public testimony (as if the horse isn't completely covered with contusions at this point) and I feel like there could be delays. Didn't he say he wouldn't do this though? Idk about the legality about refusing a subpoena but if Barr can do it...
