Until another one happens....when does another event become a prediction vs precautions taken not to ever compare situations such as the 1974 outbreak ever again. What similarities have we seen in events such as 1974 and 2011.

In some ways this event was the inverse of 04/27/2011. Much weaker, smaller tornadoes affected many of the same areas.

Regarding climatology, which historical outbreak day may have been similar to or greater than 04/27/2011 or 04/03/1974?
