I'm not really sure if this is allowed on the forum but given that this is off topic, not related to weather, i figure I'd create the thread in case anyone wants to share their own perspective.
It's been a very saddening last 24 hours including the Brown University shooting, and this just occurred a few hours ago.
Feel free to remove if not appropriate, but i think it's important to speak about these events, get perspective on all of it and just discuss in general.
What happened was absolutely disgusting and a clear terrorist attack on Jewish Australians celebrating Hanukkah. Two gunmen fired multiple shots, one has been identified as Naveed Akram, the other is unknown. Apparently, one is dead and the other is in custody. 12 people have been killed as a result of this disgusting attack, with 29 injured. I am absolutely disgusted at how this world is turning.
