5 years ago today: the day the world changed forever

I still remember that day. 5 years ago today, we were told we might have to work remotely for a while. Then I got the email that I would need to work from home the next day. On the news I heard the rest of the NBA Season would be cancelled. COVID-19 was declared a pandemic. 15 days to slow the spread became 1.5 years of lockdowns.

Does anyone else remember what they were doing that day?

I went to work like I normally do. I didn't even really notice a downtick in traffic.

Did they ever have a lockdown for your area?

California was first to lock down due to our tyrannical governor Newsom and one day they arrested someone for being alone at the beach.
