As the NWS in Atlanta (Peachtree City) has been posting the record highs and lows, since we're in this heat wave, I've been noticing that in 1883, there was a stretch for days of highs in the 40's for Atlanta around this time. Anyone know what happened? Krakatoa erupted in August of 1883...
