ESWD Full Database No Longer Public

This has been the case for several months. They claim it will be available again at some indeterminate point in the future, but I don't really buy their reasons for it not being to start.

Is there anybody I can get in contact with to potentially sign up even though I live in the US? This really is a huge bummer.

Thomas Schreiner from the ESSL told me to set my territory to "non-territorial waters" during registration and I was approved that way.

Ok I saw that and was wondering. Thanks!

For the record some kids decided to flood the public reporting system with IF5 reports (I have zero idea how there was no safeguard for that anyways) and that is why it has been basically unaccessible.

Oh of course, more stupid kids meddling with things. I mean have you seen the recent incident involving the El Reno Memorial’s Google listing? I swear the recent influx of clueless kids into the online tornado/weather community has been one of the most damaging developments to the online aspect of the hobby. They are just flooding online spaces with the most misinformed, tone deaf, idiotic comments and content I’ve ever seen. I blame tornado focused slop content mills on TikTok and YouTube. Getting off topic here I know, but am I the only one starting to get deeply annoyed with this kind of thing? It feels like it’s gotten much worse in the past two years.
