the silver lining is that the storm in southwest Mississippi is moving into a national forest, so it's not affecting populated areas for the moment

I'm really hoping that Bude, Purvis and Hattiesburg all get spared tonight, because those are some nasty radar images i've observed over the last 15 minutes.
It’s literally heading directly towards Meadville and Bude

I mean yeah but it's got another ~12 minutes to get there, which is at least enough time for people to get to shelter. hopefully it weakens in that time.

First TORE on record in the state of MS in month of May.

Looks like this cluster of homes on the east side of Garden City were either narrowly missed or took a direct hit. Hoping for the best, but we'll see.
