Severe Weather Threat 4/27-4/28

Echo tops are coming down a bit on it since 10-15 minutes ago. I thought I noticed it fading on the Little Rock radar in reflectivity and a switch over to the Jackson, MS radar confirmed it may be weakening at the moment.

Still worth monitoring closely given the environment would be supportive of significant tornadoes.

Edit: the echo top data is noisier than I realized, so it may not actually be weakening?

There were a few points in the last hour or two where the meso got really strong. I gotta wonder if it's periodically planted a few tornadoes, impossible to tell though.

Most prolific lightning producing storm complexes I've had in quite a while. Have GoPro out currently

Y'all wanna know why today's threat has ended up more active than yesterday. Two reasons (in my opinion):
1. Threat was further south
2. It's my birthday!

Line crossing from Mississippi severe-warned, getting some 50+ mph bins rather close to the surface from GWX radar. Might be quite a surprise for Vernon, Fayette, perhaps into Walker in a bit.

Even a few suspicious looking mini spinnies near Columbus
