Severe weather threat 4/23/26 (Central/Southern Plains)

Some more interesting "other" DI comments:
"Extrem ground scouring. Nearly complete removal of grass. Large weeds/small shrubs pulled up."
"Some sort of canopy destroyed. Cement broken and pulled from ground."
"No idea what this was. Grouted CMU walls, wood plates bolted to top of CMUs. Small structure."
Would post pics but, yknow. All of these DIs are near the EF4-rated metal building system on E Southgate Road. Definite EF5 intensity and contextuals here.

The surveyors are exceptionally impressed with this tornado. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a bump up in the official windspeed estimate just based on damage outside of structural - very unlikely to see an EF5 upgrade, but I really think a bump to 190 is going to happen.
They would need a structure capable of withstanding EF5 winds, which I believe some of these homes were able to do, but weren't hit by its peak strength. The max a MBS can even be rated is 180mph if I'm not mistaken, so unless they break the rules of the scale a bit, it won't (and likely can't) be upgraded. I think most people are in agreement that it had EF5 intensity though.

I’m of the opinion that the Enid tornado reached EF5 intensity where the MBS was. That contextual damage is very high end and is not associated with anything really less than a very high end EF4/EF5 event.

There's actually a DI for it, and it disagrees with you:
"RV chassis. This is a different RV from the one that is missing. Originated 75-100 ft or more to the SW"
Nope, a different chassis without a DI exists way further to the NE. Can't post an image (when the heck is this going to be fixed??) but it's at -97.8475, 36.3648. It's directly within the tornado's RMW line, which explains why it's shredded.

Might wanna email NWS Norman about that, they might be able to pull an Enderlin.
They don't respond to emails - I've emailed them four times about Union City 1973 and got no reply.

Where can I find the vexcel data? Do I actually have to give them my contact info or is it posted somewhere else online?

> Open Damage Assessment Toolkit
> Click on the icon that looks like a piece of paper with a plus sign on top
> Look up "Vexcel Gray Sky Ortho Imagery"
> Click "add" on the first one that pops up
> It should load in under the path of the Enid tornado

Yeah I agree with a bump in the winds. Like 185 to 195 mph.

I did a little analysis on the Grey Ridge subdivision. Here's the file:

Erm, the link requires that we have a Google account and be signed into it to access it. Can you please set it up to not require it? I'm sure it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!:)
