The press conference said the height at the Midway station from trough to crest was about 6 feet.

I remember the small water rises and minor inundations in Hawaii and on the Pacific coast from big previous earthquakes but this is definitely the most substantial threat in a long time, watching with interest

If you've ever watched Donovan's Reef, that is where a lot of the main scenes were filmed. If you are watching it live, you can see the light they used to signal the doctor on the right hand side.
