James Spann is launching the new Alabama Weather Network 24/7 streaming channel on August 11. It will be available 24/7 on numerous streaming services (i.e. Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire), on social media (YouTube, Facebook), and through the Alabama Weather Network app and website.

Spann will still be at ABC 33/40.

here it is today is the day of the launch of the alabama weather network with 7 minutes from now in case if anyone was interested or wanted to show their support

I might start watching the Alabama Weather Network for routine weather forecasts instead of the local news. I have bad anxiety issues and I cannot watch a lot of news anymore. So far I find the stream very calming.

In addition to the Alabama Weather Network, we'd be happy to have you at Tennessee Valley Weather. Our viewing area expanded at the start of summer to now include Madison County, AL and Lincoln County, TN. :)

Ben Luna that owns and manages our operation up here is the one that designed their studio and has provided consultation for their operation and helped them put into place a lot of the backbone of their video/audio/etc structure. We're thrilled to see James and the guys have a successful launch! You may also see our two groups using some of each other's skycams from time to time. The Florence UNA camera they have been showing, for instance, is in our network... and we have been thankful to be able to show their Huntsville Monte Sano and Russellville/Crooked Oak cameras. We overlap some coverage counties, but it's not competition. It's two groups standing side by side to serve the local community. :)

Thanks. I will have to check out your channel since I live in the Huntsville metro area.

Here's a somewhat recent (since the viewing area expansion) blog post of ours that will give you info on how to get our free weather app, how to find our smart TV apps, how to sign up for our WeatherCall subscription service if you want (our only paid service because it's through WeatherCall), how to find our social media platforms, etc., etc...
